જિંદગી અટપટા રાગ સુણાવે,

ક્યાંક સીધી આડી વાટ પકડાવે,

તું ભીતરે જઈને પૂછ તો ખરો?

અચાનક આગંતુક મન નચાવે,

ઓચિંતા વિચારો વણમાગ્યા વાગે

તું ભીતરે જઈને પૂછ તો ખરો?

તીવ્ર ઇચ્છાઓ અમસ્તી જકડે,

કામના-વાસના ટોળે ચડી આવે

તું ભીતરે જઈને પૂછ તો ખરો?

શરીર અસ્વસ્થતાને સ્વીકારે

સ્વાસ્થ્ય કથળવા નિર્ધાર કરે

તું ભીતરે જઈને પૂછ તો ખરો?

અસવાદ ને સ્વાદ હરિફો બને

હાવી મંથન, અધુરપ-ઊણપ ઘડે

તું ભીતરે જઈને પૂછ તો ખરો?

ભીતરે સૂચવ્યો અવાજ રણકે

અવતર્યા ઉત્તરો ત્યાંથી જ ઊગે

ડૂબકી મારી એને ચકાસ તો ખરો?
