The Power! Not all...

Memory is the power!
Prodigal for intelligence!
But for Spirit Self - cumbersome
Mere past scribe and perception!

Spontaneity is the power.
Empty nerve, mind quieten
Thus for Spirit Self - most convenient
Inner movements sheer silent...

Tactic is the power!
Playful, skilled decorator!
But for Spirit Self - troublesome
Mere topsy turvy, manipulation!

Perseverance is the power.
The being in a wait in a quiet
Thus for Spirit Self - potential receptor
Patience sheer reciprocal...

Vanity is the power!
Indulged self in self love
But for Spirit Self - adverse
Mere indulgent consumption!

Humility is the power.
In simplicity, in adoration of the Higher
Thus for Spirit Self - to divinity open
Faithful, sincere, humble...

Thank you Lord!

“The mind knows only the present and lives in an isolated movement of it though it tries to remember and retain the past and forecast and compel the future. The supermind has the vision of the three times, trikaladrsti; it sees them as an indivisible movement and sees too each containing the others. It is aware of all tendencies, energies and forces as the diverse play of unity and knows their relation to each other in the single movement of the one spirit. The supramental will and action are therefore a will and action of the spontaneous self-fulfilling truth of the spirit, the right and at the highest the infallible movement of a direct and total knowledge.”

“One must be spontaneous in order to be divine.
One must be perfectly simple in order to be spontaneous.
One must be absolutely sincere in order to be perfectly simple.
To be absolutely sincere is not to have any division, any contradiction in one’s being.” TM

Sri Aurobindo’s answer is always the same: Be simple, be simple, very simple. And I know what he means: to deny entry to regulating, organising, prescriptive, judgmental thought — he wants none of all that. What he calls being simple is a joyful spontaneity; in action, in expression, in movement, in life, be simple, be simple, be simple. A joyful spontaneity. TM
