થકાવટને વ્યસ્તતામાં પલટ

વ્યવહારને વૃત્તિમાં પલટ

છીછરાપણાને વિસ્તારમાં પલટ

નિગ્રહને ઊંડાણમાં પલટ

અછતને શિસ્તતામાં પલટ

આળસને પ્રસાશનમાં પલટ

એકાંતને નીરવતામાં પલટ

દુશ્મનીને સમભાવમાં પલટ

બસ! કોઈ એક સ્થાન પર ન અટક,

જિંદગી સાથે સગપણ ને જૂની ઓળખાણ છે મારે

અરસપરસની સમજ રાખી છે અટવાયે

એ મને ને હું એને આંખ મટકાવી લઈએ ત્યારે ત્યારે

આમ તો વચ્ચે કોઈ નથી આવતું કટાણે

પણ એ સંજોગ આવ્યે અમે ચુપચાપ ખમી જઈએ ક્યારેક ક્યારે

એ પણ રાહ જોઈ લે છે મથાળે આવવા માટે

ને મને ધરપત એનાં સ્વભાવની કે આવી રહેશે સમય આવ્યે

હાથ પકડેલાં જ રહે છે હવે તો જાણ્યે અજાણ્યે

શાણપણ બંનેમાં આવ્યું છે કે એકમેક જ એકમેકને સહારે
