હે ભગવતી, હે મહેશ્વરી જગતજનની
અષ્ટમી વંદન મા! નવરૂપ નવરાત્રી!

સ્વીકારો પૂજન, અર્ચન, ભોગ, આરતી
કંકુ પગલે વસો, દર હૈયે ચિર સ્થાયી!

સ્વીકારો આરત, અંતર્જ્યોત અજવાળી 
અખંડ પ્રગટો ભીતર ચૈતન્ય આંગી !

સ્વીકારો સ્તુતિગરબો સર્વરૂપ-ધારી
દર ચિત્ત ઊજળે તવ સૌંદર્યે પરમકારી!

સ્વીકારો સતસુખ ચુંદડીં મહીં આવરી
સમર્પિત આ જીવન સજાવો ઓવારી!

નવ દિન રાત, પળપળ ચરણે સમાવી
શક્તિ વિચરે, ઊર્જિત 'મોરલી' પ્રાર્થી!

જરૂરિયાત ભરતી રાખવી.

આશા વગરની પળો!

અત્રમાં ઊકલતી રાખવી.

અહંકાર વગરની પળો!
સ્વવૃધ્ધિમાં ઊછરતી રાખવી.

બેચેની વગરની પળો!

અભિપ્સા ઊગાડતી રાખવી.

એકલતા વગરની પળો!
સતકર્મ રોપતી રાખવી.

હું તો પારિજાતને પગલે!

અભિપ્સાકુસુમ જે મલકે!

શ્વેતપાંદડી કેસરી મધ્યે,

મહેકે, મહેક ચોમેર પ્રસરે!

હૈયું હ્રદય ઊંડે, હ્રદય અર્પે!

જ્યોત તેજસ્વી પ્રજ્વળે!

ઊઠે ઊર્ધ્વે, ઊંચે ગગને,

રવિ તેજ મહીં ઓગળે!

ઊતરે; શશી શાતા ધરે,

સમસ્ત શીતળ સ્વરૂપે.

ઊઠતી-ઊતરતી તીવ્ર ક્ષણે

જાણે પારિજાત પુષ્પ ખીલે!

મીઠું નયનગમ્ય અંતરે,

કુણું પુષ્પ ભીતર સુવાસે.

અભિપ્સા તેજને રસ્તે,

'મોરલી' પારિજાતને પગલે!

સ્તર શુધ્ધ થાય પછી અવતરણ વધે.

ધારણાશક્તિ વધે પછી વિસ્તરણ પામે.

ગ્રહણશીલતા વધે પછી વ્યક્તવ્ય ફૂટે.

નમનીયતા આવે પછી ધરપત પ્રસરે.

લચીલાપણું આવે પછી દિવ્યકર્મો મળે.

કૃતજ્ઞતા ઊતરે પછી દિશાસંકેત ઊકલે.

શાંતિ ઊતરે પછી નિર્લેપ વલણ સ્થાપે.

ઊર્ધ્વજ્ઞાન ખુલે પછી સત્યસમજ જાગે .

દિવ્યપ્રેમ ખુલે પછી સંવાદિતા વહે.

આ કેવું અદભૂત સર્જન છે

તંતુ એ તંતુ એ જોડાયું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

વિશ્વ પછી બીજું વિશ્વ છે.

લોક પરલોક સળંગ છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

એક પતે ને ત્યાં બીજું છે.

અહીંથી જ પહોંચવાનું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

ઊઠે અંતર ને હાથવગું છે.

ફૂટે પછી એમાંથી બીજું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

અંતર, સમય ભંગુર છે.

એકાગ્રતામાં ઓગળતું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

એકચિત્તમાં સર્વ જણાતું છે.

હ્રદયથી હ્રદય સાંધતું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

ક્ષણક્ષણ તંતુ બનવાનું છે.

પછી અગત વિશ્વનું શિશું છે.

વલણ બને આચરણ જ્યાં સિદ્ધાંત છે.

વળગણ બને વ્યવહાર જ્યાં માન્યતા છે.

લચીલાપણું લાવે બદલાવ જ્યાં લાગણી છે.

કલ્પના લાવે આવિર્ભાવ જ્યાં સમજ છે.

અમલ બની રહે વર્તાવ જ્યાં પક્વતા છે.

જડતા બની રહે મનમોટાવ જ્યાં તમસ છે.

આકર્ષણ પામે જોડાણ જ્યાં પ્રેમ ભાવ છે.

સહજતા પામે આવિષ્કાર જ્યાં કરુણા છે.

વિનંતી વળે આશીર્વાદ જ્યાં પ્રાર્થના  છે.

ધારણા વળે અવતરણ જ્યાં અભિપ્સા છે.

સત્ય વહે શાંતિસંગાથ જ્યાં કૃપાપ્રકાશ છે.

કણકણ આવરતું સમેટે!

સત્યને ગમા કે  અણગમા નથી ચોંટતાં.

કરુણાને પ્રેમ કે નફરત નથી બાંધતાં.

જ્ઞાનને વ્યાખ્યા કે માનતા નથી પહોંચતાં.

સંવાદિતાને ભેદ કે ભરમ નથી ઓળખતાં.

શક્તિને સમર્થન કે રક્ષણ નથી જોઈતાં.

સિદ્ધીને સંગ્રહ  કે દુર્વ્યય નથી ખપતાં.

કૃપાને ધર્મ કે મનોયોગ નથી બક્ષતાં.

શાંતિને મૌન કે નિષ્ક્રિયતા નથી રોપતાં.

ચેતનાને રીતીરિવાજ, વિધી નથી ખોલતાં.

પ્રકાશને કર્મકાંડ કે હવન નથી ઊતારતાં.

ભક્તને ત્યાગ કે વૈરાગ્ય નથી બનાવતાં.

સાધકને 'મોરલી'  વિરોધ, પ્રભાવ નથી પચતાં.
