એક પછી બીજો, લક્ષ્ય આવતો જાય છે.

સમયે ઊકલતો, ખુલતો, પતતો જાય છે.

ક્યાંક દ્રષ્ટા! ક્યાંક કર્તા! ચાલતું જાય છે.

જ્યાં જેટલો ભાગ, એ ભજવાતો જાય છે.

સમજ, ભાવ કે કાર્ય રૂપે, કશું થતું જાય છે.

જરૂરી એમાં યોગ્ય ફાળો અપાતો જાયછે.

સમયમાં જ સમયનો છેદ ઊડતો જાયછે.

ક્યાં કોઈ મન ઘડી શકે,

ના કોઈ તન દોડી શકે,

આ ક્ષણો બસ પ્રભુ જ આપી શકે.

ક્યાં કોઈ સ્વપ્ન સર્જી શકે,

ના કોઈ યત્ન પુરી શકે,

આ ક્ષણો પ્રભુ મરજી જ મૂકી શકે.

ક્યાં કોઈ કલ્પના રંગી શકે,

ના કોઈ કડી ગૂંથી શકે,

આ ક્ષણો પ્રભુ ધ્યાન જ પૂરી શકે.

ક્યાં કોઈ ખ્યાલ જોડી શકે,

ના કોઈ ભાવ ભૂલી શકે,

આ ક્ષણો પ્રભુ હૈયું જ ભરી શકે.

ક્યાં કોઈ જણ નિર્મી શકે,

ના કોઈ જીવ ઝીલી શકે,

આ ક્ષણો 'મોરલી' પ્રભુસંગ જ જીવી શકે.

ભીતર વહેતો દરિયો પીછાણી

મનઊર્ધ્વેથી અસ્ખલિત વહાવી
ખરી કરુણાનો સ્વાદ ચખાવી
પળપળ તુજ ચરણે ધરાવી

આવા પાલ્યને ખોળે જન્માવી

ને હ્રદય મધ્યે વાકસરવાણી સ્ફુરે.

ને હ્રદય સંવેદનમાં સૂર ભભરાવે.

શ્વેતપાંદડી કેસરી મધ્યે,

મહેકે, મહેક ચોમેર પ્રસરે!

હૈયું હ્રદય ઊંડે, હ્રદય અર્પે!

જ્યોત તેજસ્વી પ્રજ્વળે!

ઊઠે ઊર્ધ્વે, ઊંચે ગગને,

રવિ તેજ મહીં ઓગળે!

ઊતરે; શશી શાતા ધરે,

સમસ્ત શીતળ સ્વરૂપે.

ઊઠતી-ઊતરતી તીવ્ર ક્ષણે

જાણે પારિજાત પુષ્પ ખીલે!

મીઠું નયનગમ્ય અંતરે,

વિશ્વ પછી બીજું વિશ્વ છે.

લોક પરલોક સળંગ છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

એક પતે ને ત્યાં બીજું છે.

અહીંથી જ પહોંચવાનું છે.

... આ કેવું અદભૂત...

ઊઠે અંતર ને હાથવગું છે.

ફૂટે પછી એમાંથી બીજું છે.

વલણ બને આચરણ જ્યાં સિદ્ધાંત છે.
