Adversity;
You may have come as a lesson
But I have here the Presence
Living within the Constant...
You may hold terror
But I am engulfed by your traitor
The Unconditional protector...
You may rule the weaker
But I am born to deliver
With the One, the Spirit awakened...
You may look for subjection
But I am the living successor
'Morli', the Divine Trinity portion...
Thank you Lord!
Adversity means difficult or unpleasant situation...
In this life on earth, there can not be a time that one would not have come across such situations.
Irrespective of any parameters this is one thing that has shown its self to numerous, almost everyone in various forms, contexts or references.
Yes, it does come with its own share of pain, grief, repentance, guilt, blame, grudge and many more things. Makes the One an easy prey; it grabs and makes one bend onto their knees with suffering.
The intensity depends on the subjective strength. Some may pull through no matter what...some get just a dash and collapse...!
Most experiences say that once it is gone or surpassed, one has gained out of it.
It just makes one- compels one- to be in the situation, look into it with wide inner eye and then forces one to strive to get out. In a way it leaves one with renewed pertinence and different self. This can be a taller or a broken version, depending on what had resonated.
The whole being is facing adversity either for and through belief, feeling or at happening level.
The whole exercise is more for taming the individual. To break the boundaries and limitng conditioning. Whenever the acquired comfort is challenged, it looks like an another face of adversity, everytime different and further challenging.
When one is a seeker and active in spiritual practices, the adversity, is believed 'a blessing in disguise' and sincerely enlivened as teaching. That, upto a point, still, proves so...Some sects have found foundation on this theory too.
For Integral Yoga seeker, in study and in seeking of the Divine consciousness, the time comes when the same consciousness is experienced but as a transition phase, as one is passing through levels and realms of consciousness.
But gradually over a period of time and many years of aspiring aspirations, one can take the fruits of all of them and live with strong faith that adversity has no say in one's life because the whole life is filled with degrees of divine consciousness and executing force. One is, if in that defined territory, here to bravely, parallelly showcase.
Now, can one imagine a scenario where one is travelling on an express highway and inbetween can notice the cities or towns or villages are passing by. The vehicle does not enter into the habitation and remain just aware...Far away from the traffic jams and hustle bustle and delays...!! One feels a great relief by not encountering those situations...right!
Similar to this happens when one is living in constant and persistant seeking and guidance of the Divine.
Through Integral Yoga practices, one is made so firmly based on Faith and trust about the genuinity of the Divine help that one would hardly focus on what, how and why of the faces of adversity.
Rather one is made so powerful by pure aspiring, constant offering and complete surrender that one can, by force of consciousness, with the Divine Will, can pull out the entire surrounding. One can give a cover of divine atmosphere to everything one comes accross.
In the same reference, few questions were posed somewhere...
Here, reiterating with the responses,
1. Why Difficulties choose the Sadhaks' lives? What are the real reasons for calamities in Sadhaks' lives?
The moment, one;
Turns away,
Chooses to get absorbed and
Feels complicient in aspiring
The forces that are eager to pull downwards, influence the consciousness. Obviously, in such case the sadhak is not consciously in the Divine protection and the atmosphere, becomes an easy prey.
2. Why some Sadhaks give up and some do not?
Most of the times, it is the inner call. Due to the inherited foundation of the soul and there by of the psychic, during life the being would opt for this yoga processes. Take as a graced opportunity and then only can choose to COMPLETELY surrender. The real yoga begins only after that.
3. What should be our attitudes during these darkest hours?
One must;
- Not want the hour and do not want to cherish those pity, painful moments
- In quietance, pray for protection and open to grace and progress
- Offer the circumstance, the associated parties and respective roles and the outcome
- Give the entire self, to get appropriate knowledge, insight, understanding, strength to alter or modify one's role
- Surrender thus the Mother takes the lead and turns the hour to the grace
- The most important is to not to believe oneself deserving for that hour as one is always under beloved Mother's protection
- Constantly remember and surrender with faith
4. Does this Yoga give any guarantee to protect us from every difficulties in life?
Protection, Difficulty and Guarantee - these three are very subjective concepts, understandings and perspectives. Thus, it entirely depends on how one sees this and which way the inner resonates on the same. The way the relation with the Divine and its contribution is understood, seen and believed, the same way that turns out to be for the respective person. That becomes the process to progress in the sadhana.
Still one can not avoid pain, but it is guaranteed that suffering will certainly be taken away, if surrender is complete.
Certainly a time comes, when one is positioned in the Divine lap and passing by the expressway of life and nothing reaches, influences and breaks the one who has found the real spirit.
May the Divine guide and protect one and all...
Thank you...
