What to be or what all to neglect

Thoughts, visions, choices, state...

How to segregate, differentiate, reject!

Well...Hold...get clear in first place.

Enlist 'must's, Apply on priority base.

With humble heart and folded hands,

Faith in power of aspiration and grace.

Complete openness to follow the guidance,

Best, to leave it all to the Divine friend.

Rejection is a power that one holds. 

Rejecting anything unasked for or harmful to oneself is equally empowering towards any kind of growth.

Rejection can be brought in to action by various responses with gradation. It is impactful when not a reaction though a counter action. When something is refused, ignored, erased, modified, changed, resolved, and some such actions that negate the suggestion and intend is considered a rejection.

In Integral yoga practices, Rejection is one of the three core strengths where the Sadhak shall focus the sadhana upon. It is parallel to aspiration and surrender.

One can consider two stages here:

Human personality
Advancement to Psychic presence

In the first stage, individual efforts are key to progress. Within this phase, the Sadhak is still not fully aware of lower nature (mental, vital, physical) and its forces. So, it is advised to aspire for the Divine guidance and later surrender on daily basis. By choosing divine direction and surrendering whatever has been done, indirectly the rejection is called for. If it sounds humanly, practically not possible to act accordingly, one can use the mantra
"Remember and Surrender" or can study the book named 'The Four Austerities and the Four Liberations' which is the surest guide to pass through this period of sadhana with detail description of list of rejections-actions in daily life.

At a later stage, when psychic presence starts feeling, though a sure sign of progress, the Sadhak has to be vigilant enough to opt for the divine than anything else. Firmly rejecting all adverse suggestions in form of all possible fascinations, worldly attractions become very significant here. That also helps grow the presence to convert into the being. Again, aspiration to be by the side of the divine and vise versa and offering of whatever has been done, in the heart ( middle of the chest), works as the double protection and as rejection of everything else.

Till the time psychic being is fully in front and takes up the charge of life, the discretion to what is right or wrong, useful or meaningless, also is in developmental stage. 

That is why both - rejecting firmly what has to be rejected (where the sadhak gets an inner nod, a clear indication) and offering all that has been done/to be done - serve the same purpose...Rejection...!!!
