શિક્ષણને ક્યાં જોઈએ પાઠશાળા,
તાસ, ખડિયો કે કિતાબ વિદ્યા,
ઊંમર, આવેદન કે સમજ-માત્રા,
ઊતીર્ણ, ઊત્કૃષ્ટ પ્રમાણપત્ર ઝાઝાં?
શિક્ષણને જોઈએ અખૂટ જિજ્ઞાસા,
ધૈર્ય, યત્ન ને શીખનાં પારખાં,
ગ્રહણ અમલ ને નિતાંત પીપાસાં,
અવિરત તૃષા ને અર્પિત વિદ્વત્તા...
શિક્ષણને જોઈએ સાહસિક ગાથા,
આતુર, ખંતીલ, બાળ-યુવાન ઊર્જા.
શીખ-શોધ જેને સ્વપોષણ સાચાં 'મોરલી',
પૃથ્વીકાળ તેને વૃદ્ધિશુદ્ધિ તક-યાત્રા...
ખરું શિક્ષણ ક્યારેય ઉતીર્ણ થવા પૂરતું નથી હોતું. કોઈ અંકોમાં સીમિત નથી હોતું કે કોઈ પ્રમાણપત્ર એને સમેટી નથી શકતું.
જીવનની કૂમળી વય અવસ્થા માટે એ રચેલાં માળખાંમાંથી શક્ય એટલું મેળવીને યોગ્ય થતાં જવું - એ વ્યવસ્થાનો ભાગ છે એટલે એ થવા દેવું રહે.
હા, મોટાભાગની શીખ જો દ્રષ્ટાંત ન બંને તો તુલનાનાં ત્રાજવે વિફળ ગણાય છે,
એ ભાવિ વિકાસની તકોને અદ્રશ્ય કરી શકે છે એટલે મનુષ્ય માપદંડમાં જે કંઈ અત્યારે પ્રચલિત છે એને અનુસરવું રહે...
પણ એ જ એક પડાવ નથી.
આંતરપ્રગતિ માટે જીવાતું જીવન પોતે જ એક પાઠશાળા છે.
યથાયોગ્ય અવલોકન, નિયમન, ગ્રહણ, અમલ, સતર્ક આંતરસંપર્ક અને સ્વપ્રમાણિકતા જીવનનાં ઘણાં પાયદાનો એમ જ ચડાવી આપે છે.
આંતરગતિમય ભૂમિકા બીજી ઘણી બિનજરૂરી ઈતરપ્રવૃત્તિને ઘટવાને સમાધાન આપે છે. એમાં ખેંચતો ભટકાવ, આત્મકેન્દ્રમાં પલટાય છે. એ સ્વાર્થ ભાવ નથી પણ ઊચ્ચ સભાન નિરીક્ષક તપાસ હોય છે.
સ્વ વિશ્લેષણ સ્વયં માટે...
The infant soul in its small nursery school
Mid objects meant for a lesson hardly learned
Outgrow its early grammar of intellect
And its imitation of Earth-Nature's art,
Its earthly dialect to God-language change,
In living symbols study Reality
And learn the logic of the Infinite.

શીખની તરસ જ એ ગતિની દિશાને વધુ સચોટ અને સ્પષ્ટ બનાવે છે.
શિક્ષણથી જો અસ્તિત્વને અલાયદું કરવામાં આવે તો કદાચ થંભતા શ્વાસો જ હાથમાં આવે...
